How long has this product been in use?

Prompt, Inc. incorporated in 1988 as a specialist in Human Resource Information Systems. Clients' varying needs led to the creation of several versions of PromptPayPlanner® in the mid-1990s. The current version available today was developed in 2003 with particular attention paid to security, with a modular design that can easily accommodate your requirements.

What query & reporting tools are available for knowledgeable users?

Several tools are available to seasoned users.

  • Our Query tool allows you to select employees based on criteria for any column of information.
  • Our Create a Report feature allows you to select columns for a simple report or for exporting out to a spreadsheet.
  • Our Report Generator is a fully featured reporting tool, similar to Crystal Reports or Microsoft Access.

What type of help is available within PromptPayPlanner®?

Administrators have around-the-clock access to key Prompt personnel during the Go-Live period. We never outsource our support, and you even get direct cell-phone and email access to team leaders on our end.

On-Screen Help is available and can be modified by any designated PromptPayPlanner® administrator. In addition, a User Manual is available for viewing on screen and printing as an Adobe PDF.

User training is normally accomplished during initial training for your compensation program. New users can log in and be productive with just the On-Screen Help and User Manual available to them.

Can I model increases and see the effect on expenses?

Yes. PromptPayPlanner® models the effect of increases immediately as managers enter their salary actions. We've gone one step further with our What-If feature which is designed for modeling increases for the entire employee population. You may create several schemes with compa-ratio ranges to estimate the effect of increases on your bottom line. Reports and graphs are available to view the results, providing quick answers to your senior management.
